Basics
Synchronize: A unique
feature of the software benefit to your membership is your ability to
synchronize it so you always have the very latest in
content. Therefore, synchronize frequently to ensure you always
have the most up to date information. While the synchronizaiton is
occuring, you can continue using the software, but you will be returned to this
home page when the snychronizaiton is complete. This is your way of
knowing you have the most up to date information.
Travel
Providers: Instead of using an online travel site, go
directly to some of the very companies selling travel products and services to
those sites. The travel companies reflected in the software are known
as Providers. Save Time and/or money, it's that easy. To
find the Providers, simply click the "Provider" button to the left of
your screen. You will see a list of those Providers accessible via
the software. For ease, the particular Provider's specialty -
Resorts/Condos, Cruises, Car Rentals, Airfare and Hotels - is shown by an icon
located just below a brief description of the Provider. Simply select a
Provider and click on the desired travel specialty.
You will taken directly to that Provider. That's right, with one
click the software's exclusive Provider Hub takes you directly to the
Provider. Some Providers offer products and prices not even found on
the Internet!
Textbook: Unlike many typical sources for travel
information, the software's Textbook section is designed to teach you practical
aspects about travel. Simply click on the Textbook button to the left
and review the table of contents. Next, select a travel topic and then you
can review the articles under that topic.
Tools
& Forms: Organization
is certainly a skill that helps many people save both time and money. With
Tools & Forms, you will find a number of handy travel aides and forms
right at your finger tips. Some are interactive so you can fill them out
and then print them. Others can be used as models, while others can be
printed out and then completed as you check things off your "to do" list in
preparation for that perfect vacation.
Destination
Guides: Every individual
has a different perspective and the Destination Guides share this
theme. In this section of the software, you will find various types of
guides containing User Favorite Destinations, State Summaries, Lists of
Resorts and more. Like reviewing a paperback destination guide,
some of the specific resorts may not be available all the time, but they
give you an idea of amenities. Plus, simply skip over to
Providers and check for availability, get more detailed information and then
book. This aspect, like others, allows you to plan a
vacation without needing the Internet and is perfect for when you are
flying or driving across the country or state.
Helpful Links: This aspect of the software (like Providers
above) requires an active Internet connection for use. Avoid Internet
information overload and ads because you do not need a
traditional Internet browser to get useful information. As you
have likely experienced, when you typically use the Internet in regard to any
travel related topic, you get hundreds of thousands of results with
each one trying for top viewing placement so they can make more
in advertising fees from the advertisers. The result, Internet sites
scramble for key word superiority to get top placements. But
often times, this means that the really useful information is buried under pages
and pages simply trying to sell you something when you want information, not a
